In 1979 Dr. Walter Rotkis started practice in Seattle after doing fellowships at Swedish Hospital Medical Center, Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, and the University of California in San Francisco.
Dr. Rotkis is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Ophthalmology. He has served as a clinical assistant professor at the University of Washington and was formerly the corneal consultant for Madigan and Bremerton hospitals. He has a special interest and expertise in complicated corneal and Cataract related problems including Keratoconus, Corneal Dystrophies (Fuchs’), Herpes Simplex and Herpes Zoster, and refractive surgery complications.
Among many achievements and awards, Dr. Rotkis has also been listed as one of Seattle’s “Best Doctors” and “Top Doctors” by Seattle Magazine and Seattle Metropolitan Magazine.
